Caroline advises both UK and non-UK based clients on a broad range of private wealth matters, including advising on complex UK personal tax and estate planning, advising on asset holding structures and preparing suitable Wills and lasting powers of attorney.
Caroline’s client base includes high and ultra-high net worth individuals, trustees and family offices. She enjoys working with clients and their other advisers to achieve a client’s wealth and succession planning objectives.
Caroline has particular experience in advising on private client matters with an international element, advising on the UK aspects of and working with advisers in other relevant jurisdictions on matters including cross-border estate planning and complex offshore trusts and other holding structures and UK tax planning for clients moving to or acquiring assets in the UK.
Caroline joined The Burnside Partnership in May 2023. Prior to joining, Caroline worked in the top-ranked private client team at a global law firm.
Caroline is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She was named one of eprivateclient’s NextGen Leaders in 2023.
Caroline is based in our London office.
