Matthew Briggs joins The Burnside Partnership as a Partner

The Burnside Partnership, specialist private client lawyers and tax experts in London and the South East, announces the arrival of Matthew Briggs, as a Partner, who will be heading up the new office in London.  

Matt joins the team from the London office of top 25 international law firm, Osborne Clarke, and has previously worked in top-ranked city and leading regional private wealth teams. He specialises in personal tax, estate and succession planning for UK and internationally mobile individuals and their families, alongside the full spectrum of private client work, from the preparation of tax-efficient wills and family trusts to cross-border probates and the administration of complex estates.  

Matt’s arrival comes on the heels of the opening of a new West End office in London’s Regent Street and The Burnside Partnership being shortlisted for ‘Boutique Law Firm of the Year’ at the prestigious The Lawyer 2021 awards, as well as Daniel Vernede’s recent promotion to Partner in the Oxford office.
