Alison has over 15 years’ experience as a Solicitor drafting tax efficient Wills, preparing and registering Powers of Attorney and administering Estates. Prior to joining the Burnside Partnership, Alison practised at law firms in Oxford and London.
She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and an accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers. Alison has presented at Mencap's conferences on trusts for disabled people and is on their panel of professional advisors.
Alison is a member of the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends initiative and appears on the Alzheimer’s Research UK list of solicitors. She has worked with many clients affected by dementia.
Alison has had articles published in several journals including the Trusts and Estates Law and Tax Journal and the Family Law Journal and is ranked in the Legal 500 Guide 2024 as a Next Generation Lawyer.
